COTA was invited by the Secretary of Agriculture in Mexico (SAGARPA) as a part of an international delegation to attend Mexico Alimentaria 2016. This trade show featured organic producers and processors from across Mexico and key conference sessions. COTA’s Director of International and Regulatory Affairs met with the SINESECA team, the group responsible for implementing the Mexican organic standards, to exchange information and learn more about each other standards.
