Arjazon Seed Trading Ltd. is located near Fort Macleod, Alberta and specializes in processing, packaging and exporting Canadian pulses and oilseeds. The main products handled by Arjazon are lentils, hempseed and flaxseed, but also include chickpeas, peas mustard and beans. Arjazon has been organic since 2016 through Pro-Cert Organic Systems, and exports Canadian organic pulses and oilseeds in addition to conventionally cultivated products. To satisfy the demand of the international market, including quality requirements, Arjazon significantly expanded its processing capacity in 2021. Arjazon's processing system includes infrared optical sorting equipment as well as the ability to process with X-ray sorting equipment to eliminate impurities that cannot otherwise be detected. Arjazon is currently investing in resources to increase its market share in the export of organic pulses and oilseeds and is actively looking to expand its global customer base.
